The Last of Health Care is Passed

The Democrats complete victory over freedom wrapped up today. With this piece of legislation they do two things:
  • There can be no further doubt that the Democrats and the President have a Socialist agenda.
    • This legislation nationalizes student loans. No bank can give a student loan in the United States of America.
  • The Democrats, and the President, believe that the American people can be, through the force of Government, obligated to purchase a good or service.

What does it all mean? Well, the first part means that the Government is the only one who can issue Student Loans. This means that the Government has said that banks, essentially no more than private citizens, as well as you and I, private citizens, no longer have the freedom to issue money to other private citizens for the purpose of tuition payment. The Government has said that THEY are the sole entity that can make these loans. Only the United States Government has the right to do this type of business.
The definition of Socialism:
any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

No more bloviating about whether they are or not. They are. As sure as I am awesome. And I am awesome.

The second... That means that now the Government can, with its monopoly on force, can obligate all citizens of the United States of America to purchase whatever it wants. What that means is that if the Government owned a stake in a company that offered a good or service... say General Motors for instance, with its new found, and entirely unconstitutional, power it could force all licensed drivers to purchase a Corvette, or a Cadillac, or even a Tahoe Hybrid SUV. What a way to get the company back to profitability!

Be afraid of this new law. Be very afraid. To use one of the President's favorite terms, it is unsustainable.
