The Last of Health Care is Passed

The Democrats complete victory over freedom wrapped up today. With this piece of legislation they do two things:
  • There can be no further doubt that the Democrats and the President have a Socialist agenda.
    • This legislation nationalizes student loans. No bank can give a student loan in the United States of America.
  • The Democrats, and the President, believe that the American people can be, through the force of Government, obligated to purchase a good or service.

What does it all mean? Well, the first part means that the Government is the only one who can issue Student Loans. This means that the Government has said that banks, essentially no more than private citizens, as well as you and I, private citizens, no longer have the freedom to issue money to other private citizens for the purpose of tuition payment. The Government has said that THEY are the sole entity that can make these loans. Only the United States Government has the right to do this type of business.
The definition of Socialism:
any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

No more bloviating about whether they are or not. They are. As sure as I am awesome. And I am awesome.

The second... That means that now the Government can, with its monopoly on force, can obligate all citizens of the United States of America to purchase whatever it wants. What that means is that if the Government owned a stake in a company that offered a good or service... say General Motors for instance, with its new found, and entirely unconstitutional, power it could force all licensed drivers to purchase a Corvette, or a Cadillac, or even a Tahoe Hybrid SUV. What a way to get the company back to profitability!

Be afraid of this new law. Be very afraid. To use one of the President's favorite terms, it is unsustainable.

Debit Comes To Us All

In 10 years the National Debit will be 90% of GDP. That means that the debt will be 90% of the entire output of the United States of America.

This is before we add more debt brought on by the Democrat's next great project.

When will we wake up? At what point will we realize that there is no free lunch? This saddles every household in the United States of America with a $100K share. The country can not hold this. No country on earth will buy our paper. Interest on current debt costs $900 Billion a year. How much will interest be on 9.5 Trillion?

The threat to the country is grave.

Our Republic Dies Tomorrow.

I go to sleep, hoping that the spirits of Washington, Madison, and Jefferson will stir some sort of feeling in our Representatives in the House. Hope that they will, perhaps, read the Constitution, and realize that what they are doing has no justification.
Hope kills pilots. I am a pilot. I don't trust in hope. I know that the bill will pass tomorrow. I know that if the States don't step in, if the Court does not strike the bill down, our Republic will bankrupt, our economy will collapse, and the Republic, as we know it will fall.

The horrific thing is that the Representatives know this is what they are doing. The discussions are not about weather or not this bill is good or bad, Constitutional or not, but about how to hide their votes so that they can hold on to their power. It is a disgusting perversion of our system, and blatantly against the wording and the spirit of the Constitution.

It is the end of the Republic. Buy gold now.

Ram It Through!!!

Push it through. That is the word from the Senate Majority Leader, the Speaker of the House and the President of the United States on Health Care.

The Democrats are rolling the dice that the economy will improve by November, and the people won't remember the fact that they rammed Health Care down their gullets.

This is a bad deal. Not allowing insurance companies to deny people for pre-existing conditions will be the bullet in the head of private health insurance. Plain and simple. Just as the auto insurance industry would fail if they were required to cover cars with pre-existing conditions. How would that work? Get in to an accident, get auto insurance and file a claim. Same thing with health insurance. Get sick, get health insurance. No reason to get insurance until some thing happens.

Another way to look at this bill is that for the first time in history, American Citizens will be REQUIRED by their government to purchase a product. Essentially what that means is that the government is putting a gun to your head and saying "Buy health insurance."

I don't see where in the Constitution it gives the Government the authority do do this. We will see how this falls out, but I am reasonably sure it will get through. It goes though and the republic's days are numbered. Our only hope at that point is that a law suit can get to SCOUS and they can strike it down, but I don't think that will happen before 2014 when the insurance coverage actually starts. Yup, that's right the Government will be collecting taxes for health care for 4 years before the first policy is even written.
