90 Freaking Teslas???

Scientists are building the world's strongest magnet. It is estimated to be 90 Tesla strong. 90 freaking Teslas!!!!
The MRI machine uses a very powerful magnet. So strong in fact that all metal must be removed. So strong that if the patient has a colloquial implant, the MRI machine could pull it out of place and kill the patient. MRI magnets are rated at 0.5 to 1.5 teslas.

The magnet will be used in High Energy Physics experiments.

Hot freaking socks... Magneto would be proud.
